Shelley Baccardax, RD, MPH
Shelley has worked in the healthcare field as a Registered Dietitian since then. She has had extensive experience providing guidance in weight management, chronic health conditions like diabetes, heart disease and digestive conditions. In 2015 her own health concerns led her to Dr. Erin Balodis, ND. This experience propelled her to put a holistic lense to nutrition, and learn about the root cause of many conditions and the elimination and therapeutic diets associated with them.
Today Shelley is most passionate about the emotional connection to food, mindful eating and intuitive eating. She has experienced and witnessed the harm diet culture has had on clients. Wellness is created from health habits, not body size. It is her pleasure to offer a safe, compassionate space to meet individuals where they are at. Shelley helps guide clients through self reflection and examine self talk and food beliefs. Nutrition habits are addressed gently with slow obtainable goals. Meal planning is a collaborative process created with week by week goals.
