Preparing for your first visit: New patients are encouraged to prepare for their first visit in order to get the most out of their scheduled time. Here are the top five things to consider before your first visit to Brickyard Health:
1. Confirm coverage and/or direct billing ability with your health insurance provider.
2. Complete a complete health history form (this will be sent to you via email or you can fill it out at the clinic). If possible, collect a list of medications, supplements, blood work, x-rays, medical history or anything that will help us build on your health history. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call us in advance.
3. Don’t overbook. Getting to and from appointments in the city can take time. Set aside 60-90 minutes for your first visit to Brickyard Health. There is ample street parking available, including an accessible parking space very near the front of the clinic. We also have a parking map available to assist you in finding good places to park in the neighborhood.
4. What to wear (for manual treatments only). Whether you’re visiting Brickyard Health for your initial consultation or ongoing treatments, consider avoiding restrictive, bulky or tight clothing. Opt for light, flexible and loose clothing that can be moved easily in order to provide treatment on the affected area. 5. Stay away from scents. Brickyard Health is pleased to provide patients a scent-reduced environment. Understanding that some deodorants and personal care items have faint scents, we ask clients to avoid perfumes, colognes, washes or sprays that have a lasting smell.
