Massage Therapy
First-visit: 60 minutes
Typical visit: 30-90 minutes

Massage therapy consists of hands-on assessment and treatment of soft tissues, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments for the purpose of optimizing health.
Massage therapy has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Massage can help relieve the effects of physical and emotional stress, improve physical function and decrease pain.
Massage can be used to treat acute and chronic concerns, ranging from muscular pain, postural imbalances, headaches/migraines, jaw pain, sports injuries, repetitive strains injuries, orthopedic and arthritic conditions just to name a few.  The massage therapists at Brickyard Health work closely with the other practitioners. They will often suggest self-care methods, such as stretching to complement and reinforce your massage therapy treatments.
Discussing with you the demands on your body and any exacerbating or reinforcing behaviors helps direct treatment towards achieving long-lasting results.
